Md. Rafid Khan is the Co-Team Lead of BRAC University’s official Mars Rover team, BRACU Mongol-Tori, a final-year student of Computer Science and Engineering at BRAC University. His expertise lies in robotics, civic tech, communication technologies, and global strategic research collaborations, integrating technical innovation with collaborative problem-solving. He was also one of the developers of Jogajog, a communication platform built to ensure connectivity during internet shutdown. As a dreamer and problem solver, Rafid seeks to advance robotics, aerospace, and computing technologies while creating meaningful real-world impact.

Rafid Khan was the strategic planner and the team lead of the URC 2026 team. He is also the sub-team leader of network and vision. His prime role is to plan mission efficiently and maintain reliable long distance non line of sight connectivity during the mission in the C2 station. Furthermore, he worked to build strategic partnership with both national and international companies.
Members fund a surprising amount of this themselves. A contribution takes that weight off a student who is already carrying a full course load.
